This homecoming was INSANE! I have never seen so many soldiers walk through those doors nor have I seen as many families waiting for their loved ones as I did with this homecoming.  Seriously, they made us stand behind a rope and wouldn’t let us past and there were at best 70+ people behind us!!  The four stands of bleachers were filled, both sets of chairs, all the ground space as well as the balcony area. FULL. When the soldiers finally got released it was a mad house and there was absolutely no room to move.  I am so happy for all of the families that got to welcome their soldiers home this day. SO many happy families here at Fort Drum, NY. <3
